I just watched "Chicken Run". It's not a bad movie. It's got more puns than you can shake a feather at. Oh dear. I'm a little weary from this weekend's events but I'll throw something up later..

Hmm, I never got to go to the Toronto Gem and Mineral Show this weekend because of all the stuff that was happening. (TDW told me about it on Friday.) Oh well, I'll have to look into the rainbow sapphire ring at a later date. (When I have the money.)
I went downtown to play ultimate with the ninjastars and So Cuts. I had planned to give LY a call so that we could car pool, but he had changed his cell phone number! Argh! The ironic part was that he told me that he changed his number when KC called him (a few days ago) and couldn't find him! (She phoned me instead but I left my phone at home.)
Well, I ended up driving myself downtown, but that's okay. I need practice with city driving right?
A whole bunch of people showed up this week. To top it off, another group of players were present in the same field (playing next to us). Who did I see but DeeL! Who would've think? (Apparently KH was there too but I didn't take the opportunity to play with them even though he invited me out to brunch since I was playing with the other group.)
Anyway, people from the ninjastars and some Stray Rays showed up. A few new people were there too so it was a good turnout. Oh yeah, that Cushy girl commented about the remark I made last week. I should've told her that it was because she was so fun to squeeze! *thinks* Nah, maybe it's a good thing that I didn't say that.
Anyway, practice went well. Introductions were made and people got to play with people. It was good to see everyone getting along together. A few of our guys ended up playing with the other group (who were A level players). I saw them every now and then and at one point DeeL was covering D! I crack me up. During scrimmage, our team got our butts kicked even though we had one or two man advantages. It was quite embarassing really.
Afterward, a bunch of us went out for brunch. Well, lunch actually. The food (I ordered eggs royale - I think it was called a Madelaine at the other place I went to lunch with with Laz) was good although pricey. (And not in large enough quantities!)
After food, LY and I wanted to go to the Nike store because there was a friends and family sale going on where everything was 40% off! (So long as you had a printout of the e-mail.) Well, we didn't have the printout so it took us a long time to try to meet up with one of LY's friends before we stopped off at an internet café. (Actually, LY jumped in while I drove the car around in circles. Squares actually.)
When we finally got to the store, there was only forty minutes before closing and the guy at the door told us (and everyone around) that the store was not accepting any more people. Argh! Oh well, I would've been compelled to buy something had I entered and I'm not really in a position to purchase anything (not with the "new" car and all).
I ended up going back home where I watched "Chicken Run" and made a chocolate cake (from a mix). Hopefully I'll be able to enjoy that tomorrow.
