[5:08 PM EDT - Fat Pipe.]

Wow. Why sip from a fountain when you can drink from a river? I tried to download some things from work and instead of taking an hour (and then hanging and losing the download), it took a little over a minute to complete. Nice.

[11:44 PM EDT - News Bytes: This is how you do it.]

Ugh. There's a link about how the guy severed his arm and a Half-Life 2 preview on the ShackNews.

I also found this article from ArsTechnica on the rejuvination of ATI

[11:53 PM EDT - X2: Just another sequel.]

I went to watch X2 with Werdna tonight. HKL was also supposed to join us, but something about staying up 32 hours straight may have made watching the movie difficult.

Possible spoiler alert!

The movie itself was okay. It was actually quite predictable, and the setup for the rising of Phoenix was pretty obvious too. The continuing evolution of the younger kids was expected, but come on, where's Gambit when you need him? It's too bad Colossus didn't get a bigger part (I was expecting more of a Russian accent). Dr. McCoy's appearance was short, but what do you expect when the X-Men universe has dozens and dozens of "major" characters?

In any case, it's an entertaining waste of two hours.

Oh yeah, apparently CW will be joining us on the Ride for Heart.

I also downloaded the third and fourth installments of the Terry Tate saga as well as the last of the free Animatrix shorts.

[11:59 PM EDT - Just too cute.]

I got some pictures from Madelaine and they are definitely high on the cute and cuddly scale. (Great for making a good impression on any softie girls you want to impress.)

What surprised me the most was when I saw the mailing list. Was I the only guy on this list?!? *looks*

I'm really not sure how I should take that. I'll probably keep them though.
