Indeed, in meetings, minutes are taken while hours are lost. I really don't like meetings (unless it involved a one-on-one with a young good looking woman - but then I wouldn't call it a "meeting"). They seem like a waste of time when you're not directly involved, and even if you are, there's probably something more productive you can do with your time.
Unfortunately, there are times when meetings are necessary. So there isn't much you can do about it.
Ah well, as such, I didn't do all that much today. I did go to badminton, but since the meeting took so long, I got there late and didn't play all that much.
Oh yeah, I need to go to the bank tomorrow.
I've been rethinking whether or not I should be doing the 75km route. It might not be worth the pain, and there isn't really anything more to see. I might try to get a bigger group together. It's much more fun when you're travelling en mass.
