[1:27 AM EDT - New router.]

Well, I've installed the new router even though I haven't figured out if the wireless access point works or not. I'm going to have to see if the wireless card in my laptop is working. If not, then I'll have to find another machine which has a wireless transmitter to see if it can access my router.

[6:58 PM EDT - Tired driving.]

Ironically enough, I didn't even drive my car today.

Anyway, I got up early so that I could tutor. But when the alarm went off, I didn't hear anything. It was just a pop and that was it. When I got out of bed to check it out, I couldn't seem to get the radio to produce any sounds, so I just turned it off and took a shower.

I drove the Echo and it definitely felt different. I didn't feel like I was.. driving. I felt like I was commuting. I definitely have to test drive any prospective cars I may want to get after the GT-S.

I got home and my dad and I proceeded to try to reattach the muffler. This time we tried using that metal strap stuff (which Werdna suggested last time but I declined). Too bad it's still loose. I'll have to get it fixed properly later. Hopefully I don't bump the muffler again anytime soon..

The plan for today was to go go karting at the same place we went to last time. Laz, Dangerman, girl, Werdna, Tenshi, and MG came along although Werdna didn't actually go racing. I was a little surprised when I got there. The track looked different! I asked the girl at the counter if they had changed the track, and she told me that they had changed it two months ago. Great, at least we're all on the same level now. I drove better this time. I didn't crash, but I did skid around a lot. I learned that going around tight turns is best when you don't skid, so I used my breaks more liberally.

I got to drive car 19. My fastest lap was 37.95 seconds on lap 18 (then 38.02 on 9, 38.09 on 10, and 38.13 on 11 and 12) and my average was 39.09. The times are slightly better than last time although I had a faster lap the first time I did it.

We went to Tim Horton's for a snack afterward and then back to my place.

[10:14 PM EDT - News Bytes: Virus aircars.]

I went by the ShackNews and came across this article about a virus writing course being offered at the University of Calgary, and this one about aircars.
