What the.. I'm having issues connecting with the network. I don't know if the stuff I did to get the wireless connection to work has something to do with it, but I'm going to have to see if I can go to the root of this problem (and the wi-fi problem too). I've got other things I need to do this week. I need to get the muffler fixed properly, then I have to pick up my glasses, and I need to get a bike. That's on top of all the other stuff I wanted to do this week. *sigh* Oh yeah, I have to reschedule tutoring again.

Argh! After dinking around for an hour to get the wireless card to work on my laptop I noticed a strange antenna icon on the side of the computer. There was an on/off switch next to it. It was set to "off". I switched it to "on" and watched in dismay as the wireless network appeared on the list. *blinks* Argh!
I could've saved myself a lot of misery and time had I just looked over that part of the computer. Not everything can be fixed in software. (And to think that I remembered seeing that switch when I first got the laptop. *shakes head*)
Anyway, it took a few more hours before we got the connection up and running, but at least now I know what the root of the problem was.

I picked up my new glasses. The world looks.. different. It's a bit clearer but the glasses (which are plastic) are a lot lighter and actually fit on my head! I hope they fit in my helmet as well..
I found out from HKL that there are places that rent bikes.. *rubs chin*

LY found an ultimate store called Gaia Ultimate Sports based in Vancouver which sells ultimate equipment. LF later added that by going to the Gaia store via the TUC website, ten percent of the sale will go to TUC.
