[12:38 AM EDT - Paying the Ultimate price.]

Oh, I forgot to mention that there was an article in the Star on ultimate. What caught my eye was one of the team names they mentioned: The Hammered Penguins.

[10:39 AM EDT - Taped shaver.]

I was shaving this morning when I heard a popping sound. When I looked at the shaver, I saw that the foil looked out of place. The plastic covering that was holding it had snapped. Crap. I figured that this would happen sooner or later (I did see a crack develop over the months). So I used some handy dandy scotch tape and taped it back together. We'll see how long that will last.

[10:47 AM EDT - What's going on here?]

I'm having trouble accessing part of the internet from work and home.

I would say most of it, but I need to do exaustive testing before I can actually state "most" so I'll just say part.

[2:34 PM EDT - Who's playing in net?]

Oh boy, we're going to have issues this Friday since our goalie won't be around and nobody plays net. Great.

[4:52 PM EDT - Larson would be proud.]

During lunch, I made a comment that caught my imagination. Had I any drawing skills, I would've had two monsters sitting in a booth at some sort of diner. They're looking over at another table where this third monster was being given a plate with a baby on it. The caption would read "I didn't know that they served children in here."

[9:50 PM EDT - News Bytes: Fun toys.]

Hey, I came across this gadget on the ShackNews. (All links from ShackNews unless otherwise noted) There was also a side mention from ArsTechnica about a related product (the AV300) which was related to the NDAC.

While we're still on this topic, there are people out there trying to make their own TiVo. Maybe I could find a use for Yavin after all! Well.. maybe not. It's not like I watch that much TV. (One five hours a week maybe? It's also either news, Blue's Clues or Nora the Explorer.)

Oh, in true Connections style storytelling, I might as well continue with this link on BBSpot. (Which I also found on ArsTechnica.)

Hey.. didn't Microsoft agree to keep IE seperate from the OS? Then why is IE6 SP1 the last "standalone" version of IE?

Then there's another reason to join the army.

Finally, has anyone heard of Waste? It looks cool. That Justin Frankel boy is a brilliant coder.

[9:57 PM EDT - Swiss badminton.]

I went out to lunch with Laz who treated today. (Yay! Nearly free food!) Oh my, it's already Wednesday. Where is the week going? At least I've been keeping busy. Tons of stuff to do for work. It never seems to end. We'll be moving soon. I wonder how much stuff I'll need to carry. I personally don't have much to move, but I know there's a lot of crap lying around..

I went to badminton today and there was a large turnout. Even so, the average time in between games was around three minutes. Barely enough time to get a drink! I tend to tire out quickly it seems. I play well at first and then I can't hit the bird. I'll have to work on my endurance..
