[10:00 AM EDT - Taking advantage of the good weather.]

I biked to work again I figured that I shouldn't waste such a nice day. Well, girl needed the car, so I guess I didn't have that much of a choice. (I just like to rationalize it okay?) Word has started to spread here that I actually biked to work. Scary..

[10:57 AM EDT - Resume.]

I've been asked for a copy of my resume so I've spent the last little while updating the thing. It's so much easier updating a resume than starting from scratch isn't it? I dunno, it still doesn't look all that great, but I'm not all too worried ATM. It's not like I'm looking for a new job. =)

[11:59 AM EDT - Failures of power.]

Dang, it seems like we're getting power failurs intermitantly up at my place. It's quite annoying actually, to be working on something and then losing the connection again, and again, and..

I thought I had left it all behind me when I ported my stuff to my local server. *sigh* Time to get that UPS..

[12:05 PM EDT - I scream!]

Drat! It seems like that free ice cream promo I found may not extend up to Canada after all. girl did some calling around and it seems as if none of the Baskin Robbins up here are giving away ice cream to us hardy winter folk (living in our igloos and all). Oh poo.

[6:37 PM EDT - Nix the troopers.]

Nope, I don't like it one bit. I'm having sound problems again with Starship Troopers, and although there's probably an easy fix to this one, I can't be bothered.

The bike back home was agonizing due to the wind. It seems like the wind is always with me when I go to work, and against me on the way back home. What kind of message is that?!?

Badminton is today. (It was yesterday as well.) I wonder how long I can go before I collapse?

Oh yeah, it's May! Happy May Day!

[10:49 PM EDT - Black-Scholes Equation.]

I was watching a Nova program (while watching the Leafs game) about the Black-Scholes Equation. Pretty interesting stuff, especially the follies of the.. er.. I forgot the name of the group now. LDAP? Something like that. Anyway, the way the BS equation was supposed to "predict" the long range behaviour of the markets reminded me a lot of Asimov's psycho-history.

Anyway, I best get back to.. something else. Erk. It's too hot tonight.
