Argh! My network card and motherboard both support WOL, but for some reason it just won't work! *watches network lights* I have no idea what's wrong with it. I connected the cable, set the bios settings, and even checked the software. Nope. Nada. Zilch. Quite annoying. I want to implement it so that I don't have to keep that computer on all the time.
Ah well, I guess it's a problem for another day. *looks at clock* Dear lord, it already IS another day!
Hey, the ultimate practice went fairly well. I was a practice after all, so we didn't get to play anything. We spent most of our time doing drills and the like. A good work out, if you really pushed yourself (I didn't).
Ah yes, my Visa bill. I should pay it off tomorrow.. er.. today.

Oh goody. Just what I needed to hear with summer around the corner. Apparently there are some chemicals in sunscreen that mimics some hormones and does strange things to rats. Testing on humans is suggested. Maybe I'll stay inside this year. (Link is from ArsTechnica.)

Hmm, it seems as if Nortel's cutting another 5000 jobs. Ho boy, at this rate, there won't be anyone left working there by winter! I wonder if the people who I know were working in Nortel are still working there?
