[2:20 PM EDT - Wheels needed.]

I made it to work early today so that we could go to a meeting at one of the yards. It was pretty good. The people were really nice and the yard was not as dirty (nor clothes destroying) as I expected. *looks down at jeans and T-shirt* Since I had to bring the car back to the house this afternoon, I went home for lunch and then biked back to work. It took me twenty minutes to make it into the office! Crap, that's fast! Too bad going home is all uphill.. (me poor legs.)

Okay, gotta get this internet connection working again..

[7:46 PM EDT - Windy.]

Boy was it ever windy on the way back. Fortunately, it was mostly blowing from the west, making my journey home much easier. We've got relatives coming over very soon (like now) so I should get going. *sigh*

[7:52 PM EDT - Oops, forgot.]

Oops, I forgot some stuff. girl sent over a quote:

"Never be afraid to try something new. Remember: Amateurs built the Ark. Professionals built the Titanic!"

Dave Barry

Otherwise, HaremPresident sent me two links. One was something game related, while the other had something to do with digging.

Finally, I found two interesting links. One was from ArsTechnica about the 101 dumbest moments in e-Business history and the other was an article on ZDNet about how Microsoft and Realnetworks are teaming up to clobber MP3s. We'll see how that pans out.

[11:19 PM EDT - I found it!]

I found an extra IDE cable! Yay! I knew that there must've been an IDE cable that came with the CD writer, so I started looking in girl's office, and lo-and-behold, there was one hidden amongst the manuals and papers in one of the shelves. I should've looked there first! *shakes fist* At least now the computer's hooked up and closed tight. I can worry about hooking up the peripherals next!
