I'll be taking it easy today. I don't have anything else to do apart from, well, resting. Roller hockey was pretty good, although we only had eight people show up (and one goalie/net). Must roller blade more often!

Well, plans for rest and relaxation just went out the window. Now I'm going down to the beaches and playing roller hockey tonight. Whee!

We went down to Ashbridges bay to play volleyball and eat some BBQ. At least that was the plan. When we got down there, we didn't know anyone there except for girl (Windelynn and CL came by later) so we were sort of left a little listless. Our group decided to watch some of the volleyball games instead. (I tried staying in the shade as much as possible. I didn't put on any sunscreen and didn't want to get burned so early in the season.) The highlight of the match we were watching was the fact that one guy was only wearing boxer-briefs. (It was an ittsy-bitsy gray and white striped boxer-briefy..) And that was probably the main reason why there was such a crowd watching that game. (And the fact they were fairly good, and from what I heard, he was considered pretty good looking.)
We did eventually go and play some volleyball. Well, I did. The rest of them folks decided to opt out (using tonight's roller hockey game as an excuse) and decided to help with the BBQ instead. We only played for about an hour before I had to go for dinner. The BBQ crew had problems starting their fire and had only gotten started by the time we were leaving. Way to go!
We went back to have dinner with our parents at Red Lobster. Not much to note there, except that one of the patrons in the restaurant looked exactly like Jean Reno! Crazy huh?
Okay, it's time for me to get cleaned up. I've got sand in my pockets and I need to take a shower..

I figured I might as well check out some news before I get ready for tonight. The ShackNews has it's usual goulash of strange links but I only want to mention a few. The first is the iGun, next is an article about the history of mastrubation (right on the heels of yesterday's thing too!). Then there's this. I wonder why it doesn't happen more often. (The bitin.. I mean fighting back part.) Finally, I was wondering if anyone can see this?
Oh hey, ArsTechnica has a couple of interesting articles. One is about another way to time travel (using something simlar to geons), while the other is about something bit more practical.
