[10:00 AM EDT - Baby party preperation.]

Well, the house is getting prepared for the expected barrage of people who should be coming over in a few hours. I still have to go and get my hair cut and print out some pictures. Goody.

[10:13 AM EDT - QIS.]

Oh, before I get going, I should clean out my inbox. I got e-mail yesterday inviting me to the Quantum Information Symposiumin a month's time. I don't think I'll be going.

Also, I got another message yesterday regarding the rainbow gem ring I wanted to put together. This person sent me a link to some store that sold these types of rings. Cool huh? Actually, I may change my gem preference from what I had listed, to just sapphires. It would make it easier to cut since they would all have the same structure! Well, it's for me to think about I guess.

[10:08 PM EDT - Babies and hockey.]

The baby party went fairly well. Quite a number of people showed up, although we did end up having a lot of food in the end. (Way, way too much. I know what I'll be eating for the next week..)

Some of the kids were fairly recognizable, although some weren't.

Afterward, I went out to play roller hockey for a few hours. The same group of people showed up, so basically the same stuff happened as before. I didn't play so well unfortunately, and now I'm really, really tired.

Oh yeah, I got a haircut. Uhh.. let's just say that it was a bit shorter than I had anticipated. When she said an inch, I thought she meant taking off an inch, not an inch left. (Then she brought out the heavy duty razor which I had never seen used before.)

Oh well, it's not THAT bad. I'll just tell people, "Well, I was mowing the lawn one day..".
