Despite this good weather this morning, I decided not to bike to work today. I figured that if I was going to kill myself tonight with badminton, I'm not going to help bury myself by biking as well.
Okay, it was a little hectic here.. but things are back to normal. Okay, back to work.

Wow, I haven't heard that name in a while. Not since CTRL-A seceded from the Federation (of Students) what was it.. two and a half years ago now? Anyway, the boy helped out in our struggle against the Feds and it seems now that he's gotten tied up with the UK elections! There's a local article about the situation and here's the offending link. Yup nothing better to do it seems.
Man, what a gyp! Apparently, the badminton thing tonight is only going to last for two hours. Grr, I should've biked to work then! *shakes fist*
I went out to grab a soup and bagel from Tim Horton's just now. When I got to the drive in ordering box, I got the usual "Welcome to..". The rest of the conversation went like this:
Me: I'll have the soup and bagel meal.
Her: Okay, chicken noodle. *pause*
Me: Uhh, what other soups do you have?
Her: Oh! We have Chicken Gumbo, Italian Wedding soup..
*pause*
Me: Is that it?
Her: No, wait..
*pause*
Her: Cream of potato.. with bacon.
Me: I'll have the chicken noodle then.
Her: Okay, will that be all?
Me: Uhh, I ordered the soup and bagel meal.
Her: Oh! What kind of bagel do you want?
Me: *sigh*
Fortunately, I decided not to ask what type of bagels they had on hand, or I still would be waiting!
Apparently, I wasn't the only person out to lunch. When I got to the cashier's window, the panes parted and this girl donning some Elton John glasses came out and handed me a straw. I gave her my money. The panes closed.
*pause*
The next time she appeared, she handed me my iced tea and nearly gave me another straw. The window closed again.
*pause*
I took that time to examine what was left of my change.
The panes parted and she stared at me for a moment.
*pause*
I went back to my coinage analysis. "Did I give you the wrong change?" she asked. Uhh.. you didn't give me any change. She gave me a shocked look and then asked me how much I had given her. *sigh* 4.03. The window closed again.
At least I got a lot of soup this time. *looks in styrofoam bucket*

Well, badminton was okay. A few of girl's friends showed up today. We'll see if they keep showing up for the last two weeks of the season.
I checked on the other pages. Laz doesn't know what he's doing for the weekend, and FlyingS doesn't like doing a web diary. *blink*

Well, I guess we all have a different threshold for this stuff huh? *sigh* I can't believe I took money out of the wrong account. *kicks self* I hate it when I make (easilly avoidable) mistakes.
Ah well, time for some bookkeeping, and then sleep.
