Does anyone here go fishing? We're looking for a good fish locator and girl sent me a couple of links. Here's the first link and here is the second one.

A fish finder?
As a maritimer, fish-finders strike me as being very.. Ontarian.
"Gah! I MUST CATCH FISH IN TEN SECONDS! That's all I can spare! Hurry! Get the dynamite out!"
Relax already! Fishing is supposed to be fun, relaxing, and beer-filled. If you don't catch anything, go to a McDonalds.

Hmm.. then what do you suggest that we get for my dad? (Who wants to go fishing a lot when he's retired.)

Well, what does he have already? Where does he fish? Would a canoe be useful? You can get canoes for surprisingly good prices..
Well, I guess he must have a boat if you're looking at fish finders.. Who knows? If you've seen him looking at fish finders, get him one! I thought you were thinking of getting one for yourself, which had me confused, since I didn't think you fished...

Ahh, yeah. I don't think I'll ever get into fishing. Too boring. Buying a canoe I think is somewhat more expensive (and best left for a retirement gift - when I should have more money).
