A question I figured was a bit of a gift on one of my tests was:
Total internal reflection can occur only if the first medium is ________ optically dense than the second.
50-50, right? less or more, right?
No. One answer was: Total internal reflection can occur only if the first medium is _bench_ optically dense than the second.
