I decided to ride today. The weather was so good and I had ridden in dress pants before. Since I did not have to go very far, I figured that it would be worth the ride out there.
I did get a few strange looks when I arrived, since I did not seem to be in very formal attire, but I had my tie and collared shirt underneath. I saw a slew of patrol people I had not seen in quite some time. (Since the last wedding actually.)
The wedding was pretty standard. Nothing new to report. I came home for about an hour before I headed out to the reception. The reception was nice, and there was plenty of food. I got seated with DE, and was asked a number of times where my date was.
They did not press the issue though.
Not sure what to add. I have been to so many weddings now that there is rarely anything new to report. I did get a number of questions about my bike, but the funny thing is that very few people actually saw the bike. (I parked far enough from the church and reception that you have to go way out of your way to see it.)
