Well, here we are at the new office. Our actual area is not ready yet (missing walls, power, cabling, etc.) so some of us (including me) have been assigned temporary spots in some unused space. The area I am in right now is a lot more open than the old office, but our permanent spots will be a little more cramped.

I did a stupid turn during the pre-game skate on Friday and landed on my knee. Unfortunately I landed in such a way that the padding did not really cushion my fall, so now my knee is feeling quite sore. There is no obvious bruise, but it is tender to the touch, and I have no idea if it is affecting my ability to use the leg.

I was tired last night until I brushed my teeth. Afterwards, I was wired and could not fall asleep. When unconsciousness did take hold of me, I ended up in a fitful sleep, and had strange dream. I could not stay asleep however, and woke up every early. Was I feeling giddy?

I was sitting at an outdoor patio with Laz when a couple of girls came up to talk to us. Actually, they came up and talked to Laz. I needed to park the car afterwards, so I drove through some tunnels and came up a very steep exit (more than 45 degrees) and came out in a large area where there was a pool. There was space around the pool to park cars, but my spot was somewhere else. After trying to maneuver my car into the area, I gave up and tried driving back out but the tunnel was too difficult to access and I was worried that I would get stuck.

That was strange. I must have been pretty zoned out when I backed into my parking space. When I had stopped the car and looked back, my heart skipped a beat because I did not see my motorcycle against the wall. I quickly glanced to my left and noticed an empty parking spot with a blue bike perched next to the wall and realized my mistake.

I got a call some time past quarter after six. I try to leave on time. Really I do, but one of our clients was changing their printer and needed our help. I was the only person left in the office at the time.
To make a long story short, I left the office at quarter to eight, so my meal with my parents was cut quite short. I found out why they did not show up to JW's party: because they are not allowed to. They cannot go to any social events for a month!
I did somehow manage to make it to badminton only slightly late though.
