[12:23 AM EDT - Primus anyone?]

I usually throw out most of the junk mail that I get at my apartment, but one caught my attention. It was a message from Primus about a new bundle that they are offering. I was taking a look at their Triple Value Bundle which basically offers the same stuff that I am getting but at half the cost. The catch is that the Internet speed is 10% of what I am getting now (512kbps vs 5Mbps). That is a big speed drop. Do I need that much bandwidth?

[1:32 PM EDT - Moving food.]

I have been hoarding some food in my filing cabinet for a number of years now. The food there is a reserve in case I ever find myself without food and unable to leave the office. This was more of an issue before when we had less people in the company, but now it is not that much of an issue. Of course, the cans of fish do not actually show any best before dates, or anything that look like dates, so I figured that they did not go bad. I am probably right with the Clover Leaf Flaked Light Tuna Spicy Thai Chili. I am pretty sure nothing can live on it. I am trying to wrap each morsel in bread so that I do not get exposed to the capsaicin but I am nearly out of bread and I already gave myself a headache. No matter! I am nearly done. I.. must.. finish..!!!

[1:40 PM EDT - One can down.]

I think I can feel the chili burning an ulcer in my stomach now.

You know, these cans are pretty small. All of 85g worth. But I have finished the tuna. The next can is 75g of Pacific Salmon and Mayonnaise from Ocean's SnacKit. I did not see an expiry date on the can when it was in the packaging, until I opened it up and saw the label on the top:

BBE: 01/2005

Which by any standard is pretty far from being fresh. Especially if there was mayonnaise in it.

*sniffs can*

Dig in!

[1:50 PM EDT - In the can.]

Okay, to finish off the rest of the salmon (since I ran of the Ritz-like crackers that came with the package) I am using some sort of crackers from the Smowdrop Square Cake Store from Taiwan.

Oh wait a minute.. these are not crackers! They look more like some sort of flaky pastry. Ah well.

<- adds salmon to cracker shaped pastry.

[2:05 PM EDT - Done for now.]

Okay, I have finished off some of the food I had lying around. All I am left with are:

The first four were from ET.

Just enough for a meal I guess?

[Sunday, April 22, 2007: A little ride and a little hockey.]

I ended up going to the new office today after work. I got a call from TT asking me to pick up some beer before getting down to the building, but I was in no position to carry anything. Fortunately, GWG had come down to pick up the motorcycle handbook from me and he had nothing else to do, so he came with me to the LCBO and agreed to transport the booze. There were a bunch of us up at the new place and they drank a bit and shared a bunch of stories. It was all entertaining, but I had hockey that night so I sort of egged people on to leave.

When I got to hockey, I found out that TT had actually gone out to do more drinking before the game so that he was completely plastered. I thought that this might lead to a very interesting game, but we still completely dominated for some reason. Actually, they just could not get the puck in the net. Neither could I for that matter.
