[9:32 AM EDT - I think this is discrimination.]

Well, I found out last night what the problem was for the gate. While I was leaving, I tried again to get out of the lot and found out that the card did not work. I was about to attempt again when I saw a very faded sign attached to the gate arm pillar. From a distance, it was only a white board, but upon closer inspection, it seems to have been a sign at one point (it was extremely faded, I should take a picture). Anyway, there was a "don't" sign (the red circle with a strike) and within that circle was a pedestrian, a bicyclist, and a motorcyclist. Next to it was another similarly faded sign with the same message in English.

Well that explains a lot.

This morning I rode on the sidewalk to access the spot. I'll have to find out what the status is with bikes since I was told that I was able to use the lot..

[9:45 AM EDT - Over a year.]

Whoops, I had forgotten about my one year anniversary of owning my new bike. I picked it up a bit over a year ago and I have enjoyed every moment on it.

Let us see if this year will be just as fun?

[11:35 PM EDT - Shopping wings.]

I had planned to stop by the store to pick up some wedding gifts before heading up for wings. Unfortunately, the stuff that they had available were too big to fit into my backpack. In addition, despite all of the crazy sales that were taking place, not a single item on either wedding registry was on sale! What the hey?

In the end, I decided not to pick up anything. Indeed, I ended up wasting a lot of time in the store for very little reward. It also made me late for dinner to boot. Mind you, nobody was eating by the time I got there, and we only started ordering after a couple other people arrived..

Dinner was okay. I really should stop eating so much.

Our group went riding around afterwards. First to MIBAgentQ's place, then Derf's place, and then I went home (while part of the group continued on downtown). It was quite chilly. My legs are still cold!
