[4:03 PM EDT - Me Engrish still good.]

We were making fun of EK's grammatical slip in e-mail that was sent out by referring to a person as "unique". As in "our projecter will be taken care of by the Jason". CY found it particularly funny since his English is the weakest of the group. He wanted to make fun of EK and proclaimed that,

"I thought that I was the worse person here for English, but I see that EK beat me up!"

We could not stop laughing and CY thought we were laughing with him!

[9:47 PM EDT - I paid tuition.]

I forgot that I paid tuition last year. It will not be much, but I can put it against my income tax return and see a little bit of money come back my way.

I only remembered it because I was having lunch with theMediaman. We work in two adjacent buildings but never went out to lunch except for that one time when Laz was still working here. So that would be about five years and one lunch. Two now if you include this one.

But in any case, he was talking about doing his taxes and that SF had some tuition to apply. And then it hit me: I went to Ryerson last summer! I can not believe that I forgot that!

(Yes, my sieve like memory strikes again.)

Anyway, the lunch itself was tasty, and I had an entertaining conversation with theMediaman. It is too bad neither of us really have the time (or the funds) to go out to eat more often.

So I started looking into getting my tax receipt from the university. A bit of digging, and I found out that you could actually download a copy of the receipt from the website. All you needed to do was to log in to your account and download the file.

I recalled something when I signed up for the course. The guy behind the counter was telling me how to activate my Ryerson computer account and reminded me that it would be at most twenty-four hours before my account would be activated. I filed that information away at the back of my brain (I was already really late for class) and rushed off. I never did activate my account.

So here I am, activating my account. I guess I am pretty lucky that I kept my old notes from class including the registration documents. (I needed some information on one of the sheets.) I am also lucky that you do not have to be a current active student to activate your account or I would have needed another way to get at this receipt.

In any case, all I can do now is wait. I will test this new account tomorrow.
