[9:44 AM EDT - Maybe some time tonight.]

I should have some spare time tonight to catch up. The weather should be pretty good for the rest of the week so I will be riding a bit. It was a bit more chilly than I had anticipated, but I would rather have it a little cooler rather than a little hotter.

Hopefully I will not forget what I wanted to write about.

[7:38 PM EDT - Thrice dropped.]

Well it finally happened.

The first time was before I picked up the bike, and the damage was minor. The second was after I had the bike for nearly a year. Unfortunately, I do not know how or when the bike was dropped. I just noticed that the frame slider was at an angle. This afternoon on the way back from work, I was stopped at the parking lot, waiting to make a right hand turn. As the car passed, I released the clutch and..

The engine died.

Since I was in the middle of getting onto the bike, I was in no position to stop the fall, and the bike tipped over. Fortunately for me, the handle landed in mud, which cushioned the fall, but the faring landed on my ankle, but the combination of my boot and the curb saved me from any harm. There are a couple of scratches on the fairings though, but no real damage to the bike.

It still pissed me off though. At least it was not any worse..

[7:53 PM EDT - It is like an onion..]

FK was using a metaphor to explain how complex the code was that he was working on.

"It is like an onion, each time you peel off a layer, it reveals another layer underneath."

So I retorted with,

"Don't you mean that every time you peel off another layer, it makes you want to cry even more?"

Well, it does does it not?
