[12:36 AM EDT - Passing away.]

I found out that my grandmother passed away last weekend. She had been sick for a while now and was not doing well recently, so this was expected. The funeral is being held right now, so my parents and I paid our respects after dinner.

[12:41 AM EDT - I was actually busy..]

Oh yeah, RM mentioned something about the Virginia Tech shootings this afternoon, but I never looked into it since I was so busy with work, and busy after work, then busy after after work. (I ran myself ragged during badminton tonight.)

So it basically means that I do not have much to say about the whole affair right now.

Besides, I ate so much food just now that I think I am going to have a nightmare this morning.

[10:32 AM EDT - Love in the stairwell.]

My usual route back to my apartment after my orthodontic adjustments is through the mail room and up the stairwell. Nothing interesting ever happens, but today, I was not paying attention to where I was going until I nearly stumbled over some stuff that was left on one of the landings of the stairwell. I stopped to look and saw a pair of legs amongst the pile of stuff. I followed the legs and saw two teenage kids who were a little startled to see me.

They apologized and let me through.

[11:40 AM EDT - Three and a half days.]

It seems like most of the big wigs will be gone for the rest of the week. That means that I will be watching over all of these guys for three and a half days..

Oh joy.

[Wednesday, April 18, 2007: Mirrored broomball.]

I had found a very good deal on a mirrored sliding closet door on Craig's List. The guy was only selling one (probably because they broke one) so I figured that it would be a good idea to pick it up from him since I was planning on installing some mirrored doors for my closet.

My biggest worry was that the door would not fit in my car. It is about 80" by 36" which is rather large and unwieldy, and nigh impossible for one person of my size to move. When I got to the house though, I took a look at the door and saw that there was a crack in the window. The top corner was cracked and nothing like this was mentioned in the ad. I was quite annoyed, but happy too since I would not have to worry about transporting the thing.

Next time I will look at asking for help from someone who actually has a car that can fit something that large without needing lots of equipment.

It was also the last broomball night for the season. We had a larger turnout than normal, probably because we were going out for drinks afterwards. Apparently I got all the goals for our side, but I really don't remember. I just recall not having to run as much since I never really came back to the blue line. (Which made my life easier actually.)

We ordered a fair bit of food, but our group completely devoured everything that came through. There was nothing left to return except for the bones.

Well, there goes my whole "not eating too much" vow.
