I have been compiling all of the anime that I have and decided to watch one series that I had not checked out while I was transferring the files to my computer. It was alright.

The LAN party was planned for Saturday, but I wanted to get some stuff to make it a little easier for me. I had not had a LAN party for many moons, but some issues I recalled from last time were a lack of table space, chairs, and how useless glass was for optical mice.
MasterStorm had offered to bring up a table if he was coming, but the date conflicted with his family gathering. I decided to borrow one of their tables anyway, so I had to drive up to get it. This worked fairly well since I borrowed four folding chairs from my parents, and got a copy of Counter Strike from Werdna. They were all fairly close together so it was not a waste of gas.
The table was two feet by eight feet and about three inches thick. I figured that it would fit in my car since I had to stick my skis in there, and even had a mattress fit as well. When I finally got to see the table, I realized that I may have bit off way more than I could chew. Eight feet is long!
The legs came off, which was good, but when we tried sliding the table into my car (with the passenger seat pushed forward), the table stuck out the back by a couple of feet. This was not good. I decided to try a different approach. I pulled the seat down and leaned the table on top of the passenger headrest, and we were able to squeeze the table into the car, touching both the front windshield and rear window, with just enough room so that I would not have to lean over to breathe. It was a little dangerous since I could not see the passenger mirror, but I just needed to check my blind spot more often, so it was all good.
I would not want to do that again mind you, but at least now I know that I cannot fit a table more than eight feet long and two feet wide into my car unless it was malleable. Anyway, I was able to go to my parent's place and slip the chairs and table cloth under the table. I had plenty of space left, so I headed down to Werdna's place to pick up the CDs and he gave me some food as well.
I did not do much else, but I somehow managed to unload all the stuff from the car and carry everything to my room in one go. That is also something I probably will do differently next time.
