I was riding home tonight and noticed that one of the messages on the highway was changed to something I had not seen before,
"Please check your mirrors for motorcycles."
I pumped my fist and cheered. I wanted to take a picture, but I probably would have been run over.

I got a call on my cell from my parents asking me if I had plans for the night. This was because our new cousin was in town, and I figured that it would be a good time to visit the new member of the family. I was not expecting to go anywhere since I had ridden, and was planning to get home before sundown, but I figured that it would not get that cold at night?
Anyway, I got to meet the baby. Darn that kid is pretty huge. In ten years time, LD will probably tower over all the other kids. In twenty years, I will be expecting to see some hockey articles about this giant.
It was all good though. Too bad I was full from lunch or I would have taken advantage of the free food (three free meals in one day - wasted)!
