I was driving to work this morning and came up behind an X-Trail. When the brake lights came on, I noticed something funny with the centre light, so I pulled closer. The next time the lights came on, I saw that the owner had applied a stencil to the light so that it read:
"RYAN & JV"
I see. Is that not a little tacky?

Last night I went grocery shopping as usual after my game and fill up. After picking up some food, I got into an empty checkout line only to see that the cashier was actually ringing in some purchases. I was a little confused since there was nobody around, until a girl came up behind me and asked me if there were any more Honey Nut Cheerios.
I had picked up a box because they were on sale, and I had a craving for cereal ever since I got my braces installed. I normally eat Müslix, but the nuts and crunchy bits do not work well with my hardware. Hopefully the Cheerios will go down better, with a healthy addition of (lactose free) milk of course.
But I digress. I had picked up a box from a display pile, and the girl (who was kind of cute and awfully thin) must have gotten hers from the cereal aisle. Anyway, I pointed her to the pile of cereal boxes right behind us and she went on her way. I had to wait a little longer. When she got back to pay, we waited for her transaction to go through, but nothing happened for a long time. We already knew that there was a problem when there was an announcement made that the store was having trouble making any debit or credit transactions.
This sucked since I always pay by credit now. It is more convenient and I also get some cash back. In addition, I rarely carry around any cash on me anymore but fortunately for me, I had more than enough to pay for my purchases.
But I had to wait since the girl had to go to her car to get money. Yay.
