[11:41 AM EST - Chain Links: How Rice Krispies are made.]

GWG was asking about how Rice Krispies are made so I found a link on Howstuffworks on puffed grain cereals.

[4:31 PM EST - I like the cars that go "boom".]

Hmm, I remember watching a show about a particular car, the F1 a long time ago, and I could've sworn that there was something different with the engine. Namely that it was a eight cylinder engine that was arranged in an X pattern (one on top of another). But after doing some searching, I found out that the car that I was seeing was the 'McLaren F1'.

However, I'm still confident about finding a car with a dual X-type 'radial engine'. (Or some sort of prototype.)

[5:10 PM EST - Caveat Lector: His name was Flemming.]

I got e-mail from one of our customers regarding some sort of story, so I looked it up and came across a Snopes entry for it.

[Thursday, February 2, 2006: Badminton dinner reunion.]

I headed out to badminton after work and didn't play all that well for some reason. My wrist was a little stiff, but it didn't hurt, so I guess that was alright.

I was told about a dinner engagement after badminton, and I had assumed that it would be a fairly large get together (say twenty people or so). I was surprised when I arrived at the restaurant to find that there were only seats for eleven! Three were reserved for people who weren't really playing badminton, and a couple others were for kids, so only five badminton players showed up.

Apparently this was some sort of New Year's "haven't seen you in a long time" sort of dinner things for PT. Everyone there was either related or was a family friend, and then there was me. I have no idea how I ended up being dragged out to this dinner, but the food was good, and it was an entertaining dinner.
