Laz passed along a link to a free poker tournament taking place this weekend. I'm supposed to be hosting a LAN party on Sunday and I'm patrolling on Saturday so I don't know if I'll be able to play. (Probably not.)
Yesterday, TT and RM were juggling Derelict's bean bags in our office while I was working. I didn't pay that much attention to them until RM started giggling. I turned to look and see what was going on, but I didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
RM then mentioned that TT only had two bean bags in his hand. Hmm, this would mean that the third bag was somewhere else. (Yay Sherlock.) I couldn't see it anywhere on the desk, nor was it on the floor. And then I realized why RM was giggling. I picked up my UW Science mug and looked inside.
The bag had fit perfectly inside, and because of the level of the water and the way the bag fell into it, nothing spilled out and the mug didn't fall over. It was a little impressive, albeit gross, but I told TT to dry out the bag and dumped the water.
This morning, RM was talking about the incident with GWG and was picking up the bags to look for the one that fell into the mug. But we couldn't find it. It took a minute before I looked under the overturned mug. TT!! *shakes fist*
The wet bean bag had been enclosed for so long without drying that it had bloated in size was now pushing the limits of the bag itself. It also smelled funny.
I think we'll need to get Derelict some new bean bags. What am I saying? TT will need to get Derelict some new bean bags..

I got a link from TT about some banned ad for the Xbox 360. TT said,

I personally found it entertaining.

I went to badminton after work and played like I usually did. I found out that there was some sort of dinner thing taking place next week so I'll have to keep that in mind.
I went home and watched some more Fullmetal Alchemist.

You should enter that poker qualification -- it only takes minutes, and the chances of getting to the tournament are excellent. Pretty much guaranteed for someone with your ability. And it's fun, in it's intense way.
Also, it's only 2 hours on Saturday out of the gaming.. that's really not that much.
