[9:31 AM EST - Back to rain and slush.]

Well, it started snowing/raining today again. I didn't get out early enough to find a parking spot under the parking deck, so my car's exposed to the elements today.

I was surprised last night when I went looking for my car. I had parked on one of the side streets near the bar and pressed my remote at the only black car that was on the street. Nothing happened no matter how close I came or how many times I pressed the button. Upon closer examination, I realized that it wasn't my car, and as I looked down the street, I began to worry that my car may have been towed.

So I continued walking down the street, pressing the remote button until I saw the lights flash on one of the cars. It was definitely my car, but there was so much salt and dirt on it that it looked white!

I guess I could've washed it, but it would've gotten dirty again today!

[Sunday, February 19, 2006: The ankle has healed.]

I was working late because I knew that I had to leave early on Friday for my operation. KP wandered into my room just to tell LY that I was still at work. I was confused about that, since LY had already left, but the reasoning became apparent a little bit later when LY burst into my room.

Behind him came KC! Ack! Give me some warning please! She limped into the room and told me that her ankle didn't heal completely, and the bones were at an angle, so she always walked with a limp.

My eyes must've been the size of saucer plates because she couldn't stop laughing. Apparently she was playing a joke on me and her ankle was healing fine.

<- eyes narrow.

I gave her a noogie for that.

Anyway, LY suggested that we go out for dinner, and since I didn't have anything planned and no other excuses, we headed off to a ramen place nearby. I was surprised by the greeting that all of the employees made when I arrived at the restaurant. (I guess it's a very Japanese thing.) The food was really good, but it took a long time for me to finish.

We had a good time though. Besides, LY ended up paying.. after I found out that they didn't take credit cards. *hangs head*
