[9:58 AM EST - Chain Links: Wi-Fi Hoth Olympics.]

I found a couple of interesting links on HaremPresident's blog. The first is about curbing Wi-Fi at Lakehead University (I knew someone who went to Lakehead) while the other is a bid to host the 2014 winter Olympics on Hoth.

[10:29 AM EST - Redoing the résumé.]

I found myself a sample resume using the HR-XML format. I've started tailoring it for my purposes, but it'll take some time to put all the information in there. Hopefully I'll get it done in the near future so I can get rid of the old résumé and CV and use style sheets instead!

[8:13 PM EST - Very stupid.]

I ended up overwriting all the phone numbers on my cell phone! Argh! I thought when it said "overwrite", that it would only overwrite those entries that were the same on the SIM and the phone, but no, "overwrite" means purge all data and then write the information from the card. Argh!

Well, I guess I'll be starting from scratch again..

[8:16 PM EST - At least I got the photo (and pillows).]

Ugh, my eyes are starting to go on me. I think I've been staring at a monitor way too long. I should get some sleep tonight since tomorrow's going to be a long day.

Anyway, I got my passport photo taken, and I even got some pillows for the sofa. There was some sort of clearance sale going on so I had to take a look. They were selling a nice comfy throw as well, but it was just way too staticy for me.

Ah well, I'll find something else some other time.

[8:57 PM EST - Ride for wallet.]

I got a notice from the Heart and Stroke about the upcoming Ride for Heart. Is it just me or has the costs gone up yet again?

Oh well, who's interested in coming out this year?

[Saturday, February 25, 2006: The computers have arrived.]

I found out that HaremPresident was in town so I invited him over to my place. He had brought along the computers that I was supposed to pick up this weekend so this will save me a lot of time and space in the car tomorrow.

DC also came by to drop off my ski pants and goggles. They both stuck around for a while and we chatted, mostly about condos and the like.

So yeah, I've got three new (old) computers to play around with. Let's see what we've got here..
