[Sunday, January 23, 2005: Some more apartments.]

I went and met up with GWT to look at some condominiums. There were only two on the list, but there were a number of apartment types we were checking out. The first place (the Monet) was very new. The rooms were fairly small, but the layout was okay. At least at the first apartment (with the separate den). The second apartment had a "den" that was part of the main room, separated by a glass wall and sliding door. I guess the den is more of a solarium, but the look of the place didn't really fit in.

The second condo we went to was the Residences Of Avondale. The place was fairly nice as well. The decor was a bit more neo modern, with those stainless steel appliances, but the colours didn't jive with me as well as the Monet. The view was excellent though, especially those on the 24th floor overlooking downtown. (Great balcony too.) I'm a little worried about the people in the building though, since there were so many notices asking the people to refrain from doing certain things (which I thought was common courtesy).

None of them hit me as a "buy me now" sort of thing, so I decided to keep some notes and do a bit more searching..

I found out that they put keys in the stairwell for prospective buyers to come by and look at the apartments.

Oh, when we were going to the Residences of Avondale, we ended up walking into the Skymark Centre by accident. That place was like a hotel! It was remarkable! (I'm wondering what the maintenance fees are like there?)

Afterward, I went to girl's place for some dinner. I played a bit of Halo and spent some time playing a different version of Scrabble with girl and Jules.
