[3:37 PM EST - Another little bug.]

Hmm, I had a bug that skipped the 31st whenever I clicked on the next button. Strange. Anyway, it seems to be fixed now.

[5:56 PM EST - Some shopping done.]

I got to get some food, although I had forgotten to go to the bank to look into that mortgage thing. (It was closed though, so I didn't miss much.)

I also haven't gotten by haircut yet. I think it's long enough so that I don't have to put any gel into it, but it does look quite ungainly.

[7:51 PM EST - It's all in the details.]

One of my greatest weaknesses is paying attention to detail. I'm too lazy to handle the finer points of anything. A car is something that gets me from place to another. An extra twenty horse power, or slightly larger rims, or a slightly harder suspension isn't something I'd readily notice. If the alteration makes a gross change, then yes, I'll notice the effect. However, I do not have the eye, ear, nose, or thought for any subtle signals. I'm a gross kind of guy.

So when I noticed that there was a dollar off sticker on some meat that I got and that the cashier didn't pick it up, I didn't find out about it until I got home because the total amount was more or less what I was expecting, and I didn't bother getting down to checking each individual item.

That's probably why I can read books so quickly. I get the general idea of the story, and zoom through the details. Anytime I listen to a conversation, I hear about the subjects and get a general idea about the items being talked about, but I never remember the details. Places, times, people. Nothing sticks.

Squishy complained to me a few weeks ago that I never listen to her, and I was like "No, I..". Well, I do listen, I just process the information and then it gets dumped from my memory. I don't remember any of the details.

I guess this is a way of coping with a lot of information: I get the general idea of something, but then rely on other references for the details. The growth of the Internet has allowed me to get away with this very easily. Anyone can be a polymath if they have access to Google it seems.

With all the "days off" I got, I finally got to sit and think for a bit on the last day, knowing how much stuff I've still got to do. Ah well, I'll look forward to April. I just need to make it through three months.

[11:06 PM EST - More silly errors.]

I've checked the log and found some silly favicon errors. There's a way to get around it and I found a topic on this issue here which had a link to this page.

[11:29 PM EST - Making a presence run.]

I finally got around to dropping off those Christmas presents that were left unsent. I think that's all done now? I've got a calendar to update now.

[11:59 PM EST - Some small changes.]

I made some minor alterations here and there. Nothing obvious. The funny thing is that I think my to do list has grown..
