Ahh, my first real weekend day. I got up early to go and play some hockey. There were enough people showing up, but we got slaughtered. Many of us went out for lunch afterward, and then I headed home to get ready for volleyball. The drive up was a little crazy, especially once I realized that I had forgotten my shoes! (Just like last year!)
Anyhoo, I ended driving back home to pick up my shoes, and back up to the community centre, which burned an hour and so I was left with less than an hour of playing time. It was all good though. We had enough people, although the players weren't as highly skilled as last time. (Including me!)
Afterward, we went out to dinner at the Mandarin. The food is not bad, but not fantastic. I didn't kill myself either, which was good. Oh yeah, there was this new girl who was there that I didn't recognize which, for the longest time, I had thought was some sort of relative to AL and CL since they all looked alike! *shrugs*
