I've rewritten one of my scripts to use PHP instead of perl, so I'm down to just a few perl scripts now. Man, I went to sleep way too late last night. I got woken up this morning before ten by a call from Squishy and I had only slept four hours!
At least I got the wakeup call. I need to do stuff before I go down.

The plan today was to finish some shopping and to watch a movie with Squishy. I had already picked up 'Shrek 2' last week so it was funny hearing her keep mentioning that I should "pick it up" on my way down. *cackles evilly*
Anyhoo, I got woken up in the morning by a call after less than five hours of sleep. I figured that I should at least get something done so I got up, ate breakfast, and went shopping. I picked up three gift certificates from various locations, and brought back a couple of items that I had gotten which I wouldn't be needing anymore. (Which was good since it got me money to pay off for those gift certificates!) The sports store was basically empty, but the mall was a zoo! On top of that, there were so many kids!
I had planned on going straight downtown after shopping, but I didn't get any call, so when it got close to four, and I decided to head out.
Strangely enough, on my way home, I got a call on my cell. Just as I went to pick it up, I got a message stating that there was a voice message waiting for me. Good timing. It was Squishy, apparently she had called and left a message twenty minutes ago.
Twenty minutes ago? The would've put me.. in the mall! *scratches head* Ah! I guessed that the concrete structure of the building must've blocked my signal. But was surprised me was the fact that the message didn't get registered until ten minutes after I had left the mall! What kind of craziness was that?!?
Ah well, I was basically home, so I went home to drop off some stuff, and get some things worked out. That may have been a mistake because it had started to snow when I left the mall, and when I got out of the house half an hour later, it was really coming down. The roads were bad, and I still didn't get my winter tires.
I was told that I didn't have to go, because we were both busy, blah, blah, blah. I, being the stubborn guy that I am, decided to drive in this crazy weather anyway just to spite the weather gods. *shakes fist at sky*
Anyway, to make a long story short, I got to see some pictures, eat some food, and watch a movie. It was all good.
Again, I got home later than expected (although I left later than expected), so I didn't really have time to do any more work that night. Ah well, if you can't relax during a weekend, when can you relax?
