Man, the amount of spam going to my Gmail account has really started to go up (my hotmail account on the other hand has been relatively clean of late). In addition, I'm getting more e-mail bounced back with my address spoofed in the from field. Great, I can't wait until they implement some of these spam limiting procedures. Assuming that they work of course.

I've forgotten about the cooperative project for MW4 until I wrote up that comment for that entry from two years ago. I did a bit of checking and found a couple of interesting sites: missions by Ash and Mechwarrior 4 Co-op.

I'm still looking for a better way to get my scripts to run as me, and found aa thread that talks about a debian module that allows scripts to be run against the proper interpreter with the correct extension rather than with the interpreter call.

I've used a combination of groups, .htaccess, and file permissions to do something that user level executable permissions would've done for my site. I figured that giving the browser my rights wasn't something I wanted, so I left it as is, and assigned rights to the required files.
Now I can start working on those write permissions..

I heard on the radio about a site where you can post your wishlist for those who want to give your friends an idea what you want for Christmas. I think that's a good idea. I've also been meaning to put up a to do list as well, so I've got both up and running.
