I heard on the news that the Queen Mother has passed away. May she rest in peace.
I went out to a BBQ dinner at my cousin's place before heading out to play hockey with the crew. I felt awfully uncomfortable on the ice because I didn't get a warm up skate, and my skates had just been sharpened. I can power turn now! (As opposed to power slide.)
Before I go, I found the MW4 co-op mod project via the ShackNews. It's an interesting idea. I wouldn't mind trying it out when they're finished.

I just got back from the bank. I had some dividends to deposit, and since the closest bank is now not exactly walking distance away, I decided to rollerblade. This is the first time I went skating with my blades since I had them rotated and tuned two weeks ago. Basically, I noticed no difference. I guess that's good, because if they felt worse, then I'd feel awfully silly for spending the money.
The weather was warm (for me) so I went out in a T-shirt and jeans. I passed by a number of people who were taking walks wearing their fall/winter jackets. One lady who was walking her dog asked me
"Aren't you cold?"
I couldn't really think of a witty comeback, so I just replied "No". But really, I was getting quite warm. I think I'm cryophillic.
I'm getting hungry. I went downstairs to see if we had any snacks and came across some Chinese pastry. I had half a muffin type thing. After a few bites, I noticed that there were some crunchy bits. I wasn't too worried, but after coming across several of these crunchy bits, I was able to isolate one and take a look at it. It was a piece of an egg shell. *smacks lips* Okay.. at least I know they were using real eggs..

When I explained to my student that I couldn't make it out last week because of the broomball tournament, I was told that he was busy one of those adjacent weeks also.
Unfortunately, I had forgotten which week he had mentioned so when I got a call this afternoon wondering where I was..
Argh! I guess I should've written it down somewhere. I never got around to finishing my updates. It ended up being a four hour marathon session. I feel like keeling over. I think I'll do just that.

Uh oh. I just read this interview on Half-Life 2. It seems as if Cog's ideas are like this: Take everything unique to Half-Life and replace it with something generic. I don't like the looks of this..
On other news, has anyone tried Google bombing yet? I got both of these off the ShackNews.
