I just got back from broomball. This was our last game for the season. We don't start up until October so it'll be a while before I'm running on ice again.
Badminton was pretty good, it was very humid today, which made running around in the non-air-conditioned gym very exerting. I (and everyone else) was sweating profusely by the time our two hours were up. (I only played for an hour and a half.)
At least broomball is played in a temperature controled arena. I brought my camera along so that I could take pictures on the last day. We had a big turnout and a good game. Afterward, we headed out for some food and the waitress that was serving us was VERY good looking. *gives OK sign* She looked older than me, but still..
I noticed while I was driving around that there were a lot more cars than usual that had been put out of commission for some reason or another and that there were way more emergency vehicles than normal. It may have something to do with this excessive heat we've gotten today (boy was it hot and humid!) but it was nice to walk around without the need for a jacket.
We did make temperature records yesterday it seems and we're poised to break records today as well! Oh boy!
I've still got one more picture left to take in my camera so I'm going to use up that last photo and get it developed later today. At least that's the plan.
On the drive to work, I was going through a fifty zone and found it odd that nobody was passing me. I knew there was a red light ahead so I was coasting, but all the other drivers in the road are always in a rush to get to the red light first. Anyway, today was different. People were just going slow. *looks at speedometer* Right at the limit in fact. That's very.. oh.. there's a cop that just passed us going the other way. Ah ha! I guess most other drivers are in tune to events like this.

I've been hacking around on Shadows of Amn again. I should be finished fairly soon. I had nearly forgotten to get my film developed. Too many distractions at work methinks.

I noticed the same thing! There were three stopped cars on the road on my short 10 km drive from work to home today.
What is up with that??

I think it's the heat. Most of the cars probably overheated. Then again, if they did, I'm surprised to see a lot of disabled cars that were also abandoned. (Maybe the driver overheated?)
