I was doing my usual work routine wile connected to my server, when I heard a warning beep and got the following message on my session:

The system is going down for reboot NOW !!

What the hey? I barely had enough time to check who was logged in before I was kicked out. (I was the only person who was logged in at the time.) This really worried me. There aren't too many ways to shut down the server without being logged in in some form or another. Unfortunately, even after waiting for the server to reboot, I still wasn't able to connect to it. This continued on for several hours before I called back to the house to find out what was going on. Well.. apparently there was a keyboard mixup (I really don't know how) and I have discovered that pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL on my system will in fact reboot the computer even if you weren't logged in. After that, the cable went, so I wasn't able to connect to find out what happened. Very, VERY annoying. *unplugs keyboard*
Actually, I was in the middle of writing this entry when my connection was broken again. Argh! What's going on today?
