I went to badminton and broomball tonight. This is the second last week for broomball and we're getting near the end of badminton as well. However, ultimate should be taking up my Monday slot soon, so all I need to do is figure out what to do on Tuesdays.. (I guess I can go out, things tend to be cheaper on Tuesdays.)
I played well during badminton today. I actually lunged for the bird. (Usually I couldn't be bothered.) Broomball wasn't so tough either because we had seventeen people show up. That's a lot of legs to weave around.

Hey. I headed out to KW today for work. While I was there, I decided to drop by UW to visit. I only bumped into Dusty and weirDo and took weirDo and YH out for lunch. When he first saw me, YH commented,
"You've gained weight."
Huh? Me? Gain weight? *grabs scale* Hmm.. 155. He's right! Ooh, I'm starting to feel a little heavy..
I actually talked a bit with the waitress during lunch, and shared my knowledge of carob. She was kinda cute.
Oh, while I was driving to KW, I came across two EMS vehicles: a firetruck and an ambulence. This triggered a memory block from yesterday. I was driving to broomball and was in the middle of an intersection when I heard a siren, and the saw flashing lights appear right next to me! What a good place to suddenly hit the flashers, in the middle of an intersection.. Anyway, the surprise didn't cause me to crash into another car so it's all good.
Oh, another thing. The place I went to, was apparently right next to the T-shirt printing place where we got our first CTRL-A T-shirts made! What an amazing coincidence!

The drive back from KW wasn't all too exciting. It did get hairy when the car in front of me hit the brakes when he saw an OPP cruiser on the side of the highway. Yeesh! You don't jam on the brakes for no apparent reason when you're in the inside lane! (I wonder what would've happened if the guy behind that car was the guy who was tailgating behind me.)
On the way out of the city, I passed by a girl on the sidewalk that looked awfully like ShadowWhyspr from behind (when she was nineteen). Ahh, the memories..
Oh, one last thing. I noticed the colour of the highway on the way back was a rusty red, and remembered that one part of the highway coming into the city was light grey on the left, rusty red in the middle, and dark black on the right. The first thing that came to mind? Yup, Neopolitan ice cream. I never liked that stuff actually. I'd usually scrape out the chocolate and let the others peck away at the vanilla and strawberry.
