I spent most of the day playing Shadows of Amn again. Oh boy, I think after I finish it this time I'm taking it off of my computer. (I had to remove Max Payne and Emporer to play it. There wasn't enough space on the hard drive for the cache!)
I did end up being a little late though, which meant that the annoncements were being made while I was looking for a seat. At least I didn't feel underdressed. The guy sitting next to me was wearing a Hawaiian shirt and a Tilly hat! Quite spiffy looking actually. There were a lot of women in dresses. Some were very.. formal.
One of the guys at our table started making jokes, and mentioned that apart from the time that he slipped on a banana peel, he's never lost a fight. (No one could ever catch him.) Heh heh.
Anyhoo, our patrol got a whole assortment of awards, and I took a whole bunch of pictures. Not as many as I had planned, but I should be able to finish off that roll soon. The drive back was a little dangerous. A thick fog had rolled in during the day, and it hung around that night making driving a little treacherous. (Especially if you're on a two lane road going at 110 behind a speeding school bus.) Funny thing about the school bus, when it came up to an intersection where the road widened with an extra lane, it stayed to the right so that cars could passon the left. Too bad I wanted to make a right hand turn. Too bad it was a red light as well. *shakes fist*
Oh well, it was a good night, and I even semi-dressed up for it too! (No pictures to back up that claim however.)
