Yet another thing I forgot from the party on Saturday. MR ended up winning a door prize, and when he was asked what MR's job was (stating that he shouldn't say that he didn't do work), so MR said that he worked in IT.

Hey, I got a call from the hill telling me that they're planning on opening on the 17th. I'll believe it when I see it. Until then, I've got a schedule to finish.
I also went to broomball today. On the way there, I came across a car, who's headlights turned off for no apparent reason. I lost sight of them as they were behind me, but that was a little freaky. Indeed, on the way back home, I was tailing a taxi who's lights also went out. They came on again before we got on the highway, but what's with all these lights going out?
On my way to broomball, I got a call from a very distressed.. furniture maker. I couldn't contain my laughter when I was listening to the story of how this Ikea cabinet wouldn't get put together, and the screws wouldn't go in, so a hammer got involved, and now they need a power drill..
This is Ikea furniture we're talking about here.
Anyhoo, I couldn't help since I was on my way to broomball. But half an hour earlier and I could've brought along a power tool (although I doubt that would've made things better - made them worse is more like it).
I checked in after the game and apparently things got fixed without the power tool. I shudder to think of what they did..
Broomball was actually not bad. I didn't play all that well, but I did get some running in. Not as much as I would've liked, since I really want to get some exercise this week. But it was all good anyway.
Oh yeah, I ended up having an exceptionally late lunch today. Exceptionally late and ridiculously large for the time and my appetite (I wasn't hungry by then). Oh well, at least.. actually, it wasn't even a healthy or cheap breakfast. Ugh.
I did get some shopping done after work, although I should bring something back later..
