Ugh, the storm last night dropped a bit of snow on the city. It took me a while to clear off my car, not because of the snow, but because of the rain that was freezing on it! I had some trouble getting out of my street as it hadn't been plowed (it took me four tries) but once I got onto the main roads, I didn't have too many problems with traction.
However, as I approached the office, there was this very long line of cars in my turn lane. I decided that standing in line was not what I wanted to do, so with the option of taking the long way around, I drove down to see why there were so many cars in the way. I noticed that there were three buses togheter, next to a snow embankment, but that wasn't the problem. A little further ahead, near a truck that was trying to turn, I saw a car in the far right lane trying to get out. It was stuck. I waited next to it to allow it to get into my lane on the off chance that she could get out. When the light had turned, I watched as she helplessly spun her wheels. After a minute or so, I continued on driving and got into work. In hindsight, I probably could've stopped and helped, but I would've gotten stuck in that lane and there was no other place to stop. *shrugs* Oh well.
I probably should've parked under the covered lot.

I've been making small changes here and there. Some things I've been meaning to do, but keep forgetting to write down so that I'll remember to do them later.
One is to revamp my logging routines. This will take some time, but I'm working on it.

Before lunchtime, I was told that there was a pot luck being held that day.

It's nice for them to have told me this ahead of time. Fortunately, I had brought the leftover noodles from the badminton party so I had something to offer, although it looked weird to serve it in my lunch container.
Still, I got to eat a lot of food. But since I got to lunch late, most of the stuff there were either finger foods, or dessert. Yummy.
