[Sunday, January 9, 2005: Another long day.]

Well, I spent most of the day at the hill. I wasn't expecting one patroller to show up, so I ended up filling for her shift. It was a busy day. We had a lot more accidents that day than I had personally seen last year. One was a doozy. To top it off, I had a hockey game that night, so I basically had to rush to the hockey rink right after closing if I had any chance of playing on the ice.

Well, as we were doing our closing sweep, the chair lift broke down. I sat in the chair for fifteen minutes before I was able to get off. This delay meant that I was late for my game. Very late. Normally it would take half an hour to get home, and then another fifteen minutes to make it to the arena. Fortunately, I brought my stuff in the car to the hill, so I swallowed the cost of taking the toll highway and made it to the rink in half that time. Boy is that highway fast!

The game was pretty good, but I could've played better.
