[11:00 AM EST - Pop goes the laptop.]

I heard a small popping noise come from my laptop and it went off. Just like that. Pressing the power button didn't help, and it didn't respond to any sort of input. So I pulled the battery out and pushed it back in, and the laptop seems to start up fine again. What happened? I don't know. Maybe something blew? I wonder if the battery is bad now?

[11:03 AM EST - Double entry.]

I've seen this twice in as many weeks: I would see a guy in the washroom at a urinal. Then, after doing his business there, he would go into the stall and complete his transaction. What's up with that? Why do people go and use these extra resources? Is there some sort of etiquette that I don't know about?
