My laptop made a nice popping noise, and died. Actually, it's been making a lot of popping noises, but I've been ignoring them since I needed to get some work done. But this time it's kaput. For good. I had it sent in to get it checked out, but I'm pretty sure that they're going to tell me that it's done for dinner.
I'm hungry.

Argh! I found another two dead fish in the tank. These two were stuck underneath the glass statues on the bottom of the tank, so I didn't notice them earlier. Now that I've fished them out, we're down to three fish.

Well, this night was spent on patrol stuff. After reheating my soup (and watching a bit of 'Kungfu Hustle' - which Pokey recommended). Actually, the movie's pretty funny so far. I've only seen a bit of it though.
Anyway, I went to the hill to make sure that everything was good with the assessment. One of the people who was supposed to show up didn't, but girl did, and things seemed okay for her to go ahead with training.
Afterward, I went to drop off a jacket, and ended up talking with BH a fair bit. Then it was off to drop off the card at CT's place, and then the other card at MW's place.
On the way from the hill, the train tracks actually had the lights flashing for the first time! I don't think I've ever seen a train go through those tracks before. I probably could've burned through, but you never want to screw up with those types of gambles..
Oh, when I was looking for CT's place, drove around the neighbourhood, constantly checking the map to make sure that I was (more or less) on the right track. Because the map I printed out was not detailed enough, it didn't have all the street names, so I had to go by distance, general structure, and guesswork.
Eventually, I got lost, and decided to turn around and head back. As I pulled around, I looked at the street sign and was shocked! It was the street I was looking for! What were the chances?

I know the reasons why I've been warned, and I also know the reasons why I should not pursue her. I also believe that spending a month with her would probably make me want to strangle her myself, but there's always that thought at the back of my head: What if?
