[9:35 AM EST - Study in Japan.]

Hmm, girl passed along a couple of links regarding a scholarship in Japan. One is the Canadian link and the other is the Japanese link (in English of course).

[7:12 PM EST - Cancel! Cancel! Cancel!]

I've been cancelling my credit cards and insurance policies that I haven't been using lately. Heck, I haven't used these two credit cards.. ever! (Like seven years.) And I'm taking the insurance off the Corolla (which I should have done months ago) so remind me not to take it for a spin for a while (not like I was going to do that until the snow melted).

Actually, while I was cancelling one of my cards, the girl informed me that they have these rewards programs that they could attach to the card. I figured that I might as well go for it since I needed a spare now that I cancelled the other card. (Which was the same type as my current card, so why bother?)

Why am I doing this? Well, I got my credit report a couple of months back and was surprised to see that I had a few accounts still open. I figured that I should go and have them cleared up so I have some sort of clean slate. (Although you can't really get that much cleaner..)

Okay, I've got some cleaning up to do..

[9:12 PM EST - Preparation. That's the ticket.]

Hmm.. I should have started this earlier. I'm starting to make my lunches the night before when I have a break in activity. (Well, or during another activity when I can make a sandwich.)

I skipped out on badminton tonight because it was going to be pretty much empty anyway, and I wasn't in the mood to socialize. I also had some things to work on, so I figured that it would be a good night to get some things done.

[9:16 PM EST - New Year's lunch.]

Oh, for those of you who don't know yet, it's Chinese New Year. The office went out for dim sum for lunch, which is always good. Free food, and in good quantity and quality is always a welcome sight.

The place we went to was fairly large (I forgot the name already [Friday, February 11, 2005: I think it was called Celestial Court Chinese Cuisine.]) and very busy.

Near the end of our meal, there was a dragon dancing ritual, with the usual drums, sticks, cymbals, and.. dragons. There was something I don't remember seeing (although I probably have and just forgotten). People were feeding those red packets to the dragon. I don't ever remember doing that.

[9:33 PM EST - Check the broomball.]

Ah! I had forgotten that I needed to send a cheque for the broomball thing next month. Holy crap! That's in a month!

Maybe I should start training?

[10:20 PM EST - Now that's small.]

I was looking at some of the condos in the vicinity I was looking at and came across some really small ones at Pied à Terre in Avondale. But they're really cheap! But there are only four left. But they look fully furnished! But you can't move in until December.

Umm.. oh well. (Boy are they small.)
