[2:20 PM EST - Flickering. Fading.]

Ugh. My screen flickered this morning. I should have taken that as more of a warning sign, but all I did was try to work faster. So when my screen died, I was a little worried about my laptop. Then my network adapter failed. That's when I started worrying.

Geez, I've had my laptop die on me half a dozen times while I was trying to write the above sentence so I'll keep this short. I got a new adapter installed so that I could work, but the back panel connections are flaky. I got everything backed up now, so I should be okay.

It was kind of cool watching the adapter lights slowly fade as the connection died..

[Sunday, January 30, 2005: A little late.]

I had to run an errand before going to broomball. I met up with DE to pick up a cheque (and check out his new digs) before going to the arena. I was a little hesitant on going since it was snowing fairly badly and the roads were slippery, but my new snow tires definitely helped me cope with the weather. I couldn't really say the same thing for most of the other drivers on the road..
