Wow, these new snow tires are great! I still slide around if I gun the engine, but for normal driving, I get pretty decent grip!
Last night on the way to badminton, I ended up behind this guy who was driving very slowly. I stayed behind him for some time, but the street turned, and I guess the driver wasn't paying attention because he started drifting into oncoming traffic. I guess that woke him up and he quickly swerved side to side before regaining control. Then he was really booting it. I started catching up, but came across a red light, which he (or she) drove right through! I figured at that point that driver was either freaked out or blind, so when the light turned green, I tried to catch up, but I either got behind the wrong car, or everything was fine afterward because there weren't any other incidents.

Well, I should get into this habit of doing chores. I took out the recyclables and compost last night and fed the fish. Today, I brought back the containers, fed the fish, washed the dishes, and shovelled the driveway. Oi, day in, day out. This is what I'm looking forward to?
I went to badminton, and it was okay. I didn't really get all that warmed up, although I think I should have taken a shower anyway.. *sniffs*

I've been cutting down on my personal e-mail because.. well, I don't have the time. Pretty sad really, since part of that time is spent putting together this silly campaign which I don't have time for!
Ah well, once things are set up, I don't have to actually do anything..

Oh yeah, I got a call from the university confirming my donation since the payment didn't go through (since my card was cancelled). It's all settled now, and don't think I need to inform anyone else of the change..

Oh, I did forget to do one thing. I forgot to pick up the mail. The last time I picked up the mail, I wasn't sure which key we had for the box. I have lots of keys, all unmarked, and all stored together in the same box. Figuring out which key does what is mostly an exercise of trial and error. I chose one key chain which looked promising. Did I say that it was an exercise? Why yes! Jogging back and forth between the house and the mailbox can burn off quite a number of calories, considering that I wanted to spend as little time as possible in this cold air. So the first key chain didn't work. I got home and took out a whole handful of keys hoping that at least one of them would get the box open. I was lucky, one of them did. I made note of which key chain it was a part of and left it at that.
Tonight, I had forgotten to pick up the mail so I decided to do that after finishing up the rest of this stuff (which is still not done to my chagrin). I got there and tried the key: It didn't work. Flabbergasted, I looked at the key more closely to determine the problem. It was the same key chain I chose first the last time I went to pick up the mail! Argh! *tears out hair*
Lightning may not strike twice, but dolts can repeat the same mistake twice it seems. I did get the mail eventually. They happen to be bills. They happen to be for me.
Maybe I shouldn't have gotten the mail.
