[8:43 AM EST - A ride for breakfast.]

I got up early so that I could drive my dad to the airport. He wanted to leave the house by six-thirty, and for some reason, I ended up taking a long time to shower after I got out of bed. Either that or I never realized how long it took for me to get clean in the morning. Anyhoo, after the wallet fiasco, we were off. There wasn't much interesting on the way there, except for the fact that I was low on gas, but the gas light didn't come on until after I dropped him off.

As I needed gas and was very early, I decided not to take the (faster) toll highway. Which, probably was the faster choice. After getting gas, and getting back on the (slow) highway, I heard on the radio that there was an accident on the toll highway, shutting down the westbound lanes. Woot! I guess fate decided that I should get into work early?

I needed to skip breakfast so that I could get out of the house at a respectable time, so I stopped by a local Tim Horton's to pick up some grub. I got in and looked at their menu. I hadn't had a soup (in this case, chicken noodle) and bagel for a while so I ordered that. The gentleman behind the counter looked at me as if I had ordered fries and went to check on the soup. Apparently it wasn't going to be ready for fifteen minutes and suggested that I order a sandwich. Well, I wanted to order something hot, so I asked for the chili instead. He had another funny look, but went to look for some chili (since a rather long lineup had started growing behind me). Well, the chili wasn't exactly hot when I got it, and it took them five minutes to get it out. Oh well, at least I got hot chocolate! (Well, it's tepid now.)
