[12:05 AM EST - Broken stick too.]

I went to broomball today and played okay. I ended up breaking my stick on the second whack at the ball. The head flew off from the handle just like three years ago. *sigh* At least this broom did last fairly long.

It was suggested that I put a screw into the stick to keep the head attached to the shaft. So I got my dad to do that. It seems sturdy enough, so we'll see how long it'll last. If this works, I'll get my other stick set up that was as well, since the epoxy doesn't really cut it.

[4:50 PM EST - Hitting on anything that moves.]

I could've sworn that I've talked about this before, but I guess I never got around to it. Before it slips my mind again, I'll write it down.

Now, I'm not exactly a subtle guy. I like things being up front and straightforward. Politics is not my strength and I'm not smooth talker. Now, I really shouldn't be surprised when I've been told that it's obvious when I'm hitting on someone. I remember DeeL mentioning that I was acting funny around JY in high school, and apparently I was hitting on JI, VanPi, and one other in the club. There are plenty of others I can list that I've been interested in, but I never see myself so I don't know how I act (or even if it's different than normal).

Do I act like a goof? What? Am I stupid around cute girls? Oh wait, I already know the answer to that.

Should I worry? Should I bother? Should I care?

Not like I have time to think about this sort of stuff right now..

[5:02 PM EST - There are ups..]

And there are downs. Oh well, I found out fairly recently. A moment of silence please.

Just remember that things won't get better if you stop trying. (Unless you were trying to be lazy, which at my level requires no effort at all!)

Oh.. back to work.

[Thursday, January 6, 2005: Powerful, but short lived.]

Badminton was okay. I played well at the beginning, but I tired out as the night wore on and was very ineffective by the time I we were halfway through our session. I realize that I end up spending most of my energy at the beginning of the night, and then play very poorly at the end. Mind you, I tend to play poorly when I'm tired, so I either have to manage my energy better, or increase my endurance.
