Hmm, there seems to be a lot of car talk I've left out. Well, more driving talk rather than car talk, but the International Car Show is taking place right now for anyone interested. I don't have the time to check it out, but maybe next year (which I might be thinking of getting an upgrade or a *gasp* second car?
There have been a lot of new street signs posted up in my neighbourhood warning people that there is no parking anywhere on the streets overnight. I guess there were enough complaints of people leaving their vehicles on the road (and thus blocking the plows) that prompted this action. The neighbourhood avenues have been much easier to navigate ever since.
With the crazy weather we've been having this winter, I've come across many pot holes on the streets of our holey city. These pot holes are large and deep. I'd lose my tire in one if I drove through one, and there are enough of them out there warrant looking down at the road more often than looking up at the traffic. They're slowly being filled up though as the weather warms up, but still..
Oh, they installed a red light camera at an intersection on the way to work. Actually, it's been there for many months, because I remember coming across it heading in a different direction, but I had forgotten about it. I was only reminded when I saw a street sign on the road specifically noting that there was a red light camera at that intersection. Of course, I ran a red light. Too bad for the guy behind me who probably was caught by the camera (he was two car lengths behind, and I was pretty sure that the light was red when I looked back).
I'll also probably keep track of all these vanity plates I keep coming across. I'm curious as to what people come up with for their cars..

Hmm.. this was the second time I was called and hung up on by someone who's caller ID number was blocked. Is it an automatic dialler I wonder?

Patrolling was okay. I really don't remember much because so much has happened since, but I'm assuming that since I don't remember much, that it was all good?
Anyway, I basically went straight home afterward since I needed to go and patrol first thing the next morning.
