[12:24 AM EST - A new month to water.]

Ah, I had forgotten to water the plants on Sunday so I needed to make sure that the pots were well wetted tonight. I had also forgotten my laundry in the washer, which is why I have the time to do some of these forgotten chores. Maybe I have time to open the garage door?

[10:30 AM EST - Yes snow. No alarm.]

Argh. I got up this morning and wondered how I woke up before the alarm went off since I went to bed so late last night. Then I checked the time: 9:11. Argh! Fortunately, the clock next to my bed is an hour fast, so I wasn't overly late, just late. The alarm clock was (for some reason) turned off. I don't recall turning it off on Monday morning.

I got outside and noticed the snow drifts that had piled up in front of the house and on the driveway. I didn't have time to try to get the garage door open and shovel a way out, so I hopped to our neighbour's side and walked down his driveway. I hope they didn't mind.

[11:22 AM EST - Some things shouldn't be shared.]

Seems like some flu bug going around right now. Derelict got it yesterday and is still sick, while 2046-LM got it today. FlyingS's also sick. Whoa, time to up my vitamin intake..

Some fonts I'll be needing.

[7:18 PM EST - Thunderbird, ho!]

I've been trying out Thunderbird and it's a nifty little mail program. I'll be using it more at work, but I might install it here, even though I probably won't really use it at all while at home.

[7:22 PM EST - Getting things working again.]

I figured that I should spend some time to shovel the driveway, which meant finding out why the garage door opener wasn't working, which required using the spare shovel in my car to clear a path to the house so that I could get the key to unlock the garage.

Sure as heck felt like some sort of adventure quest.

Anyway, after five minutes of not knowing which key did what and which way to turn and why the knob didn't unlock (the knob doesn't do anything anymore), I finally got the door open. Then it became pretty apparent to me why it didn't work: there was no power.

After I got around to shovelling the driveway and picking up the mail, I went to check out the circuit breaker and sure enough, the garage's circuit breaker was triggered. Argh! I would've saved myself a lot of agony if I had checked it first.

I turned it back on and checked the garage door opener, and noticed that there was a light on the switch that wasn't on before. I didn't even know that there was a light! (I never look at the switch, I just find it by feel.)

Oh well, lesson learned.

But I found out this morning that my wiper blades on my car were broken. One on the front and the rear one. Oi vey.

[11:28 PM EST - Broomball and taxes.]

I was doing my taxes last night and am due for a tax return (as usual). Also (as usual) it won't be enough to pay for my car insurance. Why does car insurance have to be so high?

Broomball was okay. I was late as usual, and I took a nice whack on my left calf. It's tightening up right now, so I'm not sure how I'll be for tomorrow's practise.
